Meet Dr. Lozano

Dr. Daniel Lozano is a board-certified psychiatrist who is dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based psychiatric care to his patients. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Lozano graduated as the Valedictorian of Weslaco High School in 2008 before going on to receive his undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Lozano attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following medical school, he continued his training in San Antonio where he completed his residency in adult psychiatry at The University of Texas Health Science Center. He gained extensive clinical experience through rotations at the Bexar County University Hospital System, Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital System, Brooke Army Medical Center, and numerous other specialty clinics and facilities in San Antonio. During his senior year of residency, he was elected and served as the Chief Resident of University Hospital.

Dr. Lozano is committed to continuing a long and dedicated medical career within South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. He is passionate about addressing the specific needs of the community and hopes to remain committed to these needs well into the foreseeable future. He believes that providing quality mental health care is crucial to the overall health and well-being of individuals and communities, and is dedicated to making a positive impact through his work.
